We strive to make our web presence accessible in accordance with national legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

This website is almost fully compliant with the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), the Ordinance on the Creation of Barrier-Free Information Technology in accordance with the Act on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (Barrierefreie Informationstechnik-Verordnung - BITV 2.0) and EU Directive 2016/2102.

Currently we are working on the implementation of the accessibility of the website.

• Meaningful alternative texts for informative graphics and images are now gradually being assigned
• Links will be named meaningful
• and further technical adjustments are made according to BITV / WCAG.
• Furthermore, we continue to work on the smooth operation of the site with the keyboard.

There is no page in easy language or sign language yet.

Unfortunately, it is currently not technically possible for us to correctly mark up words or text sections in other languages using HTML. We will endeavor to be able to implement this soon.

With reference to test step 9.3.1.2 of the BIK BITV self-test.

Not all documents are accessible. Unfortunately, since there are many files that can only be adapted step by step, it will take some time to fix the problem. We are making every effort to remove the remaining barriers as quickly as possible.

You can tell whether a document is already barrier-free by the fact that the download is marked with the information "barrier-free".

Unfortunately, not all of our videos have the necessary transcriptions in the form of text or sound. A synchronous switching of audio descriptions for videos is currently technically not possible. We are working on the technical implementation of the function and the creation of audio descriptions and text alternatives for videos.

With reference to test steps 9.1.2.3 and 9.1.2.5 of the BIK BITV self-test.

The audio player we have included accesses a browser standard, so we cannot technically adapt it to be barrier-free. Unfortunately, it cannot be operated correctly with the keyboard. This results in a "keyboard trap". You can solve this by reloading the page. We are trying to fix the problem.
