As a large district town, Schramberg not only has a municipal council, but also two local councils: In Tennenbronn and in Waldmössingen. The two bodies, each headed by a local councilor, take care of the affairs of the respective district. The local councils can make recommendations to the municipal council to support it in its decision-making.
Eleven elected representatives belong to the Tennenbronn council. The chairman of the body is Manfred Moosmann.
The Waldmössingen local council consists of eleven councilors. The chairman is Reiner Ullrich.
